Match Report - 21st January 2008

A welcome return to form after the previous week's aberration. We might have played in the dark, but it was nothing compared to the darkness in the hearts of poor Dead Sheep.

Constant pressure from the midfield and forwards saw the Sheep rarely making it out of their own half. When they did, our doughty defence and keeper handled all with aplomb.

A fine performance by all - if barely needing to engage third gear - was capped by a great volleyed goal by Sam. (how i'd like a bit of that... goals, not Sam of course...;-)

Match Report 7th January 2008

Possibly one of the best team performances in a very long time. DPC went in at half time one nil down. The match finished with DPC winning 4 - 1 against one of the better sides in the league. The whole team played to its full potential. Six games played. 13 points. Second place. And fun.

Goal of 2007 competition - Results in!

It will come as no surprise to those of us that were privileged enough to have witnessed this act of sheer sublimity first-hand, but the Goal of the Year competition has been won by none other than Kevin 'Exocet' Craig for his netbuster against RGJ.



Our judges were left in no doubt that La Craig's sublime blend of pace and precision deserved the highest of accolades and were delighted to to award him the Prix de la Footix for his exuberant display.



To honour this 'but magnifique' DPC have utilised the latest in cgi/vr technology to reconstruct, in the highest detail, the moment of glory below (you know, you can almost taste the astroturf...)
